Welcome to the 2026 Albuquerque Catan Local Qualifier Page
On Saturday, May 30th @ 12:30 in the PM, Empire Board Game Library in Albuquerque is hosting an official CATAN United States National Championship Qualifier Tournament. We will have 3 preliminary rounds, and move directly to a 4-person Final Table following the Preliminary Rounds. If there are more than 28 participants, there will also be a semi-final round following the 3 preliminary rounds. There will be a maximum of 32 seats available.
Tickets for the event are $15 and can be purchased here!
The Qualifier Winner will win a guaranteed seat at the 2026 CATAN Regional Qualifier Tournament! Date and location of the Regional Qualifiers are TBD.
Top finishers will also receive Catan-related prize support.

ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be residents of the United States and be 18+ years of age by the date of CATAN Nationals. Winners of 2025-2026 season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the 2026 National Championship.
